Batch verification for consumer products

Nobody believes “lab tested” anymore. Show shoppers the report.

You already pay for real testing. Shoppers never see it. Truestar verifies your lab documents and publishes them as a quality report on the product page: one report per batch, signed by the labs that did the analysis, checkable by anyone.

01 · The problem

Every label says “lab tested.” Printing the words costs nothing, and shoppers have noticed. Trust now belongs to the brands that put their documents where the claim is.

02 · The report

What shoppers see

A small badge sits in the buy box. It opens a report that reads like the document it is: a verdict at the top, the signatures of the analysts at the bottom, and evidence a shopper can check between them.

Results reflect laboratory analysis of submitted samples at the time of testing, as reported by the named laboratories. Truestar verifies the source documents; it does not perform the analysis.

01

The verdict

One line at the top: all checks passed, or which one failed. Summary rows underneath show each check with its result.

02

The evidence

Each result carries its numbers: the measured value, the detection limit, and the specification it was read against. Method and date sit under every table.

03

Lab signatures

The analysts behind the results are named, with laboratory and role, as they appear on the source documents.

04

The source PDF

Every report links the lab report it was verified from, so shoppers can open the original and check for themselves.

05

The verify URL

Each report prints an ID and a URL that resolves on this site, so a printed report can be checked against a live record.

What your brand gets

A claim no one can copy

Anyone can print the same words on a label. A per-batch report signed by named laboratories exists only when the testing does.

The objection, answered in place

The moment a shopper wonders whether to believe you, they are standing on your product page. The report opens right there, evidence first.

A price backed by paperwork

Products tested batch by batch cost more to make. A published report lets the price argue from documents instead of adjectives.

04 · Process

How a report gets made

Three steps, one report per batch.

01

Send us your lab documents

The certificates of analysis, lab analyses, and per-lot certificates you already have from the laboratories that test your products.

02

We verify them against the source

Each document is checked against its source, and each result is read against the limit that applies to it. A report is issued only when the documents hold up.

Greco Gum

Greco Gum sells Chios mastiha, a tree resin harvested on one Greek island and protected by an EU Designation of Origin. Imitation resins are common, so every harvest ships with a Truestar report: a DNA identity test, a heavy-metal panel, a pesticide screen, and microbial counts, verified from documents issued by RL Labs and the Chios Gum Mastic Growers Association.

The badge sits in the buy box on grecogum.com. The report opens in place, names its lot, links its source PDF, and resolves at this site’s verify lookup.

06 · Questions

Common questions

Who performs the testing?
The laboratories named on the report. Truestar verifies their documents and publishes the results. It performs no analysis and sells no testing.
Is this a certification?
No. A report is verification and publication of existing lab results. The standards belong to the labs and the pharmacopoeias named on it.
Why batch by batch?
Because a lab result describes the lot that was sampled, and nothing else. Each report names its batch and stands on its own documents.
What happens when a check fails?
The report says so. Its verdict names the check that failed, and the numbers sit underneath it. When the documents themselves cannot be verified against their source, no report is issued.
How does it get on the product page?
The brand adds a small Truestar embed to its page. The badge opens the report in place; the shopper never leaves the product page.
What does it cost?
Pricing is set per brand at the demo. There is no price list and no self-serve tier.

Origin & Identity

Authentic mastiha grows only in the Mastichochoria of southern Chios, and imitation resins are common. Identity is confirmed at the species level before any batch is cleared.

“Not detected” means below the lab’s detection limit. For scale, a cup of brown rice holds roughly 10 µg of arsenic (FDA Total Diet Study), far above what is detectable in a serving here.
